Hardware

Aerocet floats provide you with the most dependable attachments and components on the market. Our choices in materials and design mean that your choice in Aerocet floats will last.

All attachment hardware is constructed of 6061-T6 Aluminum for corrosion protection and sulfurically anodized. Plus, all attachment hardware is interchangeable with EDO, so you can simply use existing hardware and just replace the float. 6061-T6 is used in our spreader bar extrusion design which utilizes an internal shear web for increased strength under forklift loads and clamping. Our spreader bar sockets feature integrated grease fittings for the easiest installation and removal.

Our water rudder design carries on the state-of-the-art tradition with stainless tiller posts, fasteners, and brackets. We do away with rubber seals that crack and leak, and cumbersome deck cables and turnbuckles are all hidden from sight. Large rudders are used for maximum maneuverability .

We use large aerodynamic cleats and stainless steel walkwire tabs for the strongest combination when at the dock.

Aluminum chine rub strips provides yet another strong seam overlap and resists constant chine abrasion. The keel is protected with an aluminum keel strip. When paired with our composite construction, this produces the strongest hull and the best performance.

Our bumpers are constructed with an innovative high impact polyurethane that absorbs energy by metering the air released and extends back over the float structure for added protection.
